Surely we have come full circle. I think this will change a lot of peoples lives for the better. He is inheriting a country that is almost broke. We all know know brothers can take four dollars and turn it in to an empire. Lets hope for the best. The truly best part of last night was Jesse Jackson crying watching all those people(both black and white) waiting to hear a black president about to give his first speech. Good news white folk no more Jesse and Al they are now a thing of the past no need for them anymore. We all now know we can truly do anything we set our mind too. As a brownish man i was happy. I only hope bush had enough left out of the bailout to pay the utilities in the white house up for a few months. Sean Hannity would never let that down if they shut him off midterm.

You forgot something about Monday. We all played Cash Flow and none of us could seem to get out of the ratrace. I guess we're all stuck there until next year. Hope we have better luck then. I had a great time. Thanks for being so hospitable. See you next summer.
Love,
Mom

CD&d,
Congrats on the baby! I'm a friend of your dads and I see his golf swing all the time. The pics seem to convey that he is trying to share his vast knowledge on the subject, sorry. Great site.

Small world. We were also at the Irish Festival yesterday. Hubby is mostly Scottish and I am a lot of Irish. Truly a great place to watch people and not get trampled in the process like at the State Fair.

I am glad things are going good with the little one.

Take Care!

The hurricane hit Padre Island coast which is actually 30 miles away. The it went right through here. It was a scary experience. Strong, strong winds. 100 miles an hour. And heavy rains. My dogs loved it they went out and played during the height of it. Didn't stay out very long. Electric went out in the afternoon. So no radio, tv or air. We ate canned goods the next couple of days. It fooded all around my land. Felt like I was on an island. Stoped 2 feet from the house. So I was really sweating it. Thursday morning when we surveyed the damage. 2 trees knocked down. I big kornamental cactus. My cement bird bath and Fountain knocked down. Those were some strong wnds to knock down a cement water fountain. We were stranded for the next 2 days because the road was flooded. I kept going out in my car every once in a while and turning on the air and listening to the radio.
It was a catagory 2. If we ever have one again and it's a 3 or under, I'll stay but if its a catagory 4 or 5 I'm out of here along with my dogs. It was a very stressful time but everybodys safe and we didn't flood so it turned out just fine with God's help.
