Saw this in my morning perusing. Let the meaning be the start of your day, rather than the end.
As I kissed C+dd goodbye this morning before coming into work, I was reminded just how good I have it. It was 5am when dd placed her order for breakfast. C, full of mothers instinct, arrived shortly after I did, with breakfast. She did this knowing two things: our daughter needs to eat, and I needed to get to work.
So at 6 when I left, I kissed my still hungry daughter, and my loving and supporting wife goodbye, knowing they will take care of each other, while I take care of them.
So once again, start your day full of loving and giving thoughts. Don’t end it with “I’ll repay them tomorrow”.
